For children ages 5–13.
Children learn the basics of jiu-jitsu and the principals of respect and strength as they relate to real-life situations. The primary lesson taught is that true strength comes from sincere respect for others.
Jiu-jitsu can be a life-altering experience for children. It builds confidence and respect, while offering fun and exercise. Through a supportive environment, jiu-jitsu allows children to develop physically and socially, as they build self-defense skills and achieve measurable self-affirming results. The combination of physical and moral instruction provides a vital, character-shaping foundation that stays with children for life.
Classes are taught by 5th Degree Black Belt, Professor Octavio Couto.
All children may try the class out for a week completely free of charge.
