Fitness has been a part of Johnny’s life since he started lifting weights and wrestling at 13. He joined his first gym at 14, and entered his first bodybuilding show at 16, eventually winning the NPC Western USA, and the Arizona.
He has certifications as a personal trainer, MMA conditioning specialist, Pre and Post-natal, Trigger point MFR, Kettlebells, and Golf conditioning. He also has had the good fortune of training with combat sports legends like Evan Tanner, and former U.S. Olympian in Judo, Martin Boonzaayer.
He began training in BJJ at Octagon in 2011, and has loved it ever since. He am currently a purple belt under Octagon MMA’s Professor Octavio Couto.
He specializes in training and conditioning programs for people at every level of fitness. From pregnant moms, to athletes preparing for BJJ and bodybuilding competitions. He is also an expert in Corrective exercise movement, and has worked to help people improve their posture and overcome back pain.
