BJJ Seminar with Viktor Doria

Viktor Doria and Octagon MMA will be hosting a two hour Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu seminar followed by one hour of open mats. Everyone is welcome to take part in this seminar. It is $40 cash only at the door. If you’ve never been to Octagon this is a great time to try a seminar, experience the gym and meet great people.

Free Self Defense Class

Are you prepared to protect yourself or a loved one in the event of an attack? What if you don’t have time to grab the weapon you maybe carrying to protect yourself? What if you are grabbed from behind and thrown to the ground? Would you know what to do? These are all very scary thoughts, that we would all prefer not to think about.

Every Thursday evening, Steve Hall a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches techniques to defend yourself. These techniques could one day save your life. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the #1 martial art to defend yourself in the event of an attack. Why? Because it teaches you that size doesn’t matter. This defensive technique teaches you how to utilize leverage to offset your opponent and take you out of a bad situation quickly and escape.

Octagon MMA offers these classes to everyone in the community ages 16 and older at no cost. Want to take your training further? Try some of our classes to really build on the technique and grow your skills and confidence.
